Long Range Precision | 1

Our Long Range Precision 1 class, or (LRP-1), was created by former Army Sniper instructor, Kenny Winn, to serve as the foundation for all long range rifle classes within the Heartland Precision Rifle class inventory. In LRP-1 we teach an attention to detail focused utilization of the fundamentals of marksmanship as the key learning objective of the class, and then help our students incorporate them into their shot sequence to achieve down range accuracy. We also provide an in-depth look at ballistics, atmospheric effects on a projectile, data book construction, and shooter / spotter team dynamics. After a little over 2 hours of instruction, our spotters will give you the data and wind calls to help you attain hits on steel at distances up to 1,000 yards…often times further.

* we “GUARANTEE” to get you on target at 800 yards or we will bring you back at no cost during our next long range event…we have yet to not deliver on this promise

Rifle and scope rentals can be facilitated with prior coordination; don’t let a lack of equipment stop you from training
